Texting Rex
Rex is Replio's assistant for restaurant operators. You reach Rex by texting Replio's published number, +1 (628) 313-5798. You start the conversation, either by texting the number or by entering your mobile number on a repliohq.com form and checking a consent box yourself. Replio never texts a number that did not ask, never adds a number from a list or a third party, and never buys or rents numbers.
What you agree to when you text Rex
By texting Rex at +1 (628) 313-5798, you agree to receive conversational text messages from Replio in reply to your messages. Messages are replies about the Replio product and about what your restaurant's publicly posted reviews show. Message frequency varies with the conversation. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help, or email help@repliohq.com.
Texting Rex is not a condition of buying anything, getting pricing, or receiving support, all of which are available on the website without a phone number. Starting a conversation is not consent to marketing messages. If Replio ever wants to send you something you did not ask for, Replio asks first.
Where the number appears
On a phone, Replio presents the number on repliohq.com as a "Text Rex" button that opens your own messaging app with a prefilled note to Rex. On a desktop, the number is shown so you can text it from your phone. Nothing is sent and no number reaches Replio until you send a text from your own messaging app. Next to the button and the number, this notice is shown:
Texting Rex starts a conversation with Replio. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out. Terms · Privacy
Asking Rex to text you from the website
You can also ask Rex to text you on a repliohq.com form. The person still acts first: a form only asks Rex to text you if you enter your own mobile number and check a consent box that is never checked for you. Each form links to the Terms and the Privacy Policy.
The form that asks Rex to text you
When repliohq.com shows a form to have Rex text you, it asks for your mobile number and cannot be sent until you check a box labelled:
Yes, text me. I agree to receive texts from Rex at Replio at this number about my restaurant, including replies to what I send. Message frequency varies. Msg and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
If you check the box and send the form, Rex may send one confirmation text, then replies to what you send:
Replio: you asked Rex to text you at repliohq.com. Msg frequency varies. Msg and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help.
Hey! I'm Rex, Replio's Head of Growth. I help you grow your restaurant by studying what guests are saying and helping you act on it.
Who am I talking to? First name is fine. Reply STOP to opt out.
The Rex text plan signup
On repliohq.com/pricing, a person signing up for Replio's Rex text plan enters a name, a restaurant and a mobile number, and may check an unchecked box labelled:
Yes, text me. I agree to get texts from Rex at Replio at this number about my account and my restaurant, including replies to what I send. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
The box is optional. Checkout works without it, and without it Replio sends no texts until you text Rex yourself. If you check it, Rex may send a welcome text when your free trial starts:
Hey [first name], it's Rex from Replio. Your 7 days free just started. Want me to pull what guests are saying about [restaurant] right now? Reply YES. Msg frequency varies, msg and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.
Subscribers who checked the box may also get a notice before the free trial's first charge ("Rex from Replio here. Your 7 days free end in 3 days, and your card is charged then. ..."), alerts when new guest reviews arrive, and, if they turn it on, one daily review summary. Message frequency varies.
What Replio keeps
For each consent Replio keeps a record of the words shown, when you agreed, the page or signup it came from, and your IP address or a one way hash of it.
Opting out and getting help
- Reply STOP (or CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE) to end the conversation. Replio records the opt-out and sends nothing further from this number.
- Reply START to opt back in.
- Reply HELP (or INFO) for help, or email help@repliohq.com.
- STOP applies to the number you sent it to. Replio's sign-in codes come from a different number and are sent only when you request one.
- Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
